Speaking and Ministry
Generations of Virtue Founder and Executive Director, Julie Hiramine, is an accomplished author and speaker. Julie speaks powerfully with clarity and conviction based upon the word of God and her experiences as a mother to five daughters and mentor to many more.
Generations of Virtue would be honored to participate in your convention or curriculum fair this coming year. This non-profit ministry is dedicated to helping parents reach their children early in order to prepare them for a lifetime of purity and virtue. This generation of parents wants to be the ones to speak with their children on issues that their own parents felt uncomfortable addressing, however, oftentimes they find themselves ill-equipped to do this. Generations of Virtue provides the proper equipment and support in order to accomplish this goal.

The last five years Generations of Virtue has ministered to parents and teens around the world. There has been an increased recognition by both parents and teens that they need to be prepared for the traps our culture creates in order to captivate and make them slaves to a lifestyle of indecency and indiscretion—thereby providing a foothold for impurity.

Banished to Babylon, USA
This is a two part message. The following is a description of what will be presented in each session.
Presenter: Julie Hiramine
For: Parents of children of all ages.
Description: Although our nation has not been marched off into captivity in chains like Israel into Babylon, we have been taken spiritually captive by our culture. We have been subtly chained to the world’s values that imprison us. The values of the world unknowingly sneak up on us through TV, on the internet and while
reading the newspaper and magazines. The saturation of our families by the torrential onslaught of the media in our sensually driven surroundings has captivated both us and our children.
Banished to Babylon: Part 1
The condition of our culture is on a quick slide and it is going to take a concerted effort for our children not to slide down with it. Parents during this session will be equipped to understand the position the media takes and how it affects our kids. We will examine the history of the media over the last 100 years, what effects the saturation of this device has on our families, and how to combat it.
Banished to Babylon: Part 2
“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news.” IS 52:7. God has appointed our families to bring the news of deliverance and lead each other out of captivity. Renew your vision on how to instruct your children when it comes to media discernment, establishing values that reflect God’s timeless standards, and dispensing with the lies and myths that our culture perpetuates concerning body image, sex, pornography and relationships. Take practical steps to relinquish the chains that have not only bound our families, but our churches as well.
7.

Julie is an AMAZING speaker!!! I am so thankful God has called you to do this!!!! I have learned so much from you. Thanks again!!!
Julie,
I really enjoyed your talk, “A Girl’s High Calling”, at the recent
Cincinnati Home-school Convention. It is nice to know that my husband and I
are not alone in wanting to raise our daughters to be pure and Godly women.
Our culture does tell us many lies about what it is to be a “teenager”. I am
thankful to have your website as a resource! In telling my husband about the
convention, I keep saying, “oh, and another thing I heard at that talk about
raising girls. . .” I loved your point about not creating “bad appetites”.
What an excellent illustration ! Your points about not letting things go and
don’t let them grow up too fast, also hit home with me. Well, I could go on
but I wont. I just wanted to thank you for your attendance at the convention
and for sharing your insight and values!
Thank You
We would like to have Julie Hiramine speak at our 2009 Conference. It is held in Des Moines, Iowa. The dates are June 5 adn 6, 2009. Please let me know if she is available.
Thank you.
